Project Details
This scattered-site renovation project included 191 units in 74 unique buildings, mainly duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes, and townhomes throughout the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood near the University of Minnesota’s West Bank campus. The oldest building dates to 1880. The project was the first major renovation of these properties in nearly two decades, and involved exterior repairs and improvements as well as adding energy-efficient appliances, new flooring, and other upgrades in the units. Residents did not have to move, but were given temporary housing during any repairs that took more than a day.
