Project Details

For 20 years, the Lydia Apartments have housed hundreds of residents who are breaking the cycle of homelessness. Flannery Construction was hired to renovate the existing structure and expand the Lydia to include a six-story building with 40 new homes. The remodel work included plumbing and HVAC replacement, interior painting, flooring, kitchen and bathroom upgrades, and a new sprinkler system. The Lydia boasts a new front entrance and reception desk, a bike storage area, a larger and upgraded community kitchen as well as new office space for property management and supportive services staff. In addition to making the apartments and shared spaces more comfortable, the building is also more energy efficient.
