Project Details
For more than four decades, Simpson Housing has been a leader in helping people experiencing homelessness in Minneapolis. When the organization moved its administrative headquarters, it hired Flannery Construction to renovate the interior and exterior of a former furniture store. The firm insulated the entire building to make it significantly more energy efficient, and installed many new windows to bring in more light. Substantial leveling work was done to even the floors and conference rooms were constructed. For the first time in its history, the organization was able to have all of its office staff under one roof, increasing the impact of their collective work for those experiencing homelessness.
