Project Details

Non-profit organization Aeon hired Flannery Construction to build its Sound on 76th affordable housing property, a unique project concepted to give residents access to a suburban community with a high quality of life that had historically been out of reach due to housing costs. Sound on 76th offers 70 affordable homes in the heart of Edina, and features an outdoor play area and green space, indoor bike storage, fitness center, community room and learning center with computers. The majority of the homes are two- and three-bedrooms, all of which are affordable at or below 60 percent AMI. All residents receive supportive services from Haven Housing. Built on the former site of Flyte Time Studios, original artwork by Ta’coumba Aiken that was previously displayed in the studio has been re-installed in the new property.
