This full-time position is ideal for a highly motivated professional who excels in communication, technical knowledge, and organizing. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of administrative and project management experience. This position requires flexibility to travel to job sites located outside the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
- High school diploma
- Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 3 + years of previous work experience in administrative role providing support to multiple people.
- Previous work experience in project management and in the construction industry preferred, not required.
DEMONSTRATED TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Internet Applications.
- Experience in Bluebeam Revu is preferred.
- Spectrum and Procore experience desirable, not necessary.
DEMONSTRATED PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES
- Self-motivated and have the ability to use sound judgment and independent thinking in decision-making situations
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and multiple managers, while remaining flexible
- Must be able to manage and meet multiple deadlines
- Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with co-workers, contractors, vendors, and material suppliers.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the construction industry and knowledge of Procore and Viewpoint Spectrum Construction Software.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project start-up, job files, records maintenance, close-out: Includes extensive use of department related software. May also include scanning, printing and plan distribution.
- Provide operational support to the project team members. Facilitate the flow of information both internally and externally as directed.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
- Responsible for coordination of assigned projects and department initiatives including tracking and follow-up for submittals, contracts, change orders and close out documents.
- Create and maintain documentation such as project plans, trackers, risk logs, and change requests.
- Awareness of opportunities for improvement in efficiency is welcomed.
- Various administrative support as needed and aligned with department goals and objectives.
- Attend meetings, training and communicate follow-up items as requested and needed.

- May be required to visit the job site as requested by the Project Managers.

OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

- Answer phones as a backup.

COMPENSATION RANGE: $60K – $75K
