Project Details
For more than 50 years, kids have been visiting Camp TEKO, nestled along the shores of a beautiful lake, to enjoy learning, gathering with community and experiencing nature. Flannery Construction was hired to expand the camp’s footprint for the first time in its history in order to better serve its community and accommodate more campers. The new facilities were built to meet ambitious sustainability goals, and include geothermal piping, louvered solar panels, runoff gardens and a zero-emission teaching kitchen among other climate-friendly features. Additionally, a Welcome Center with a gathering canopy was constructed, along with additional parking and a new boat house.
