The Juniper

The Juniper is a newly-built 65-unit affordable housing community in the Gladstone area of Maplewood. The project was designed and constructed to meet the unique needs of large families and multigenerational households, offering nine units with four bedrooms, and the remainder with either two or three bedrooms. All units are considered affordable or deeply affordable; seven apartments are reserved for people with disabilities, and seven have been set aside for families who have recently experienced homelessness. The apartments have high-end finishes including solid surface countertops, ceramic tile backsplashes, solid core doors, and marble tub and shower surrounds, among others. Common spaces include a fitness room, makerspace, co-workspace, lounge area, clubroom, bike storage rooms, storage lockers, and an outdoor patio area with grill stations, overhead trellis, and comfortable seating.
