The Waldo

Project Details

The Waldo is a newly-built 56-unit affordable housing community located next door to its sister property The Juniper in Maplewood. It was designed to serve the diverse needs of large and multigenerational families with floorplans ranging from one to four bedrooms. Developed in partnership with JB Vang, the project offers units at a mix of 30% to 60% of the area median income. Deeply affordable options are integrated throughout the site, including seven units reserved for people with disabilities and seven set aside for high-priority homeless households, where tenants pay no more than 30% of their income. Residents enjoy a comprehensive suite of amenities including in-unit laundry, a fitness room, a community room, and an on-site playground, supported by both surface-level and underground parking. Standing alongside The Juniper, The Waldo represents a continued commitment to expanding high-quality, affordable housing within the community.
